Basic class March 18 Mon. @ 630 (FULL) New Basic class March 28 Mon.@ 6:30
For thirty years I have helped people train their dogs to be terrific family members. My passion for dog training runs deep. I have an extensive knowledge of dog behavior and have put together a training program that is informative, fun and produces fantastic results. My experience comes from a wide range of dog related activities and programs:
Jackie has owned, trained, shown and loved Irish Setters, Labrador and Golden Retrievers. Her current canine companions are Goldens, Remmy and Dudley. Remmy has achieved the the AKC titles of Companion Dog, Companion Dog Excellent and Utility Dog and Utility Dog Excellent. Most of these titles were first and second place wins. It takes dedication and a great understanding of dog behavior to compete and win in competition obedience. These are the same qualities Jackie will use to help you achieve a happy, well mannered dog.
*Anam Cara's Sweet Home Celebration*
Celly joined the Obedience Laboratory family this past July.
She is sweet, funny and VERY smart. This little girl won Dudley over in no time flat, she's even managed to get the approval of Remmy. We look forward to watching this little sweetheart grow. Celly brought sunshine and smiles to this
crazy summer of 2020.
Dudley joined the Obedience Laboratory family in 2015. At eight weeks old, Dudley came bounding in as an energetic puppy ready for anything! Dudley made his competition debut this Fall/2018. He quickly earned his CD (AKC Companion Dog Title) at the Marshbank Golden Retriever Club Trial in Ann Arbor, MI. His last leg for the title, was a First Place and also Highest Scoring Golden for the Trial! We couldn't be more proud of Dudley.
Remmy is fifteen years young and still LOVES to train. She's highly motivated and enjoys learning anything new. Her fun loving, playful attitude has made her a joy to have as a competition partner and also a companion dog. She's always willing to show off her skills and wow the students in classes. Remmy achieved her obedience titles with no non qualifying scores and has twice been High In Trial.
Monte was everything the Golden Retriever breed is known for. He was outstanding as my competition dog and took training very seriously. Monte was a steady worker and rarely made mistakes. Monte's drive and eagerness to please was unsurpassed. He was a joy to work with and I'm forever grateful to have had such a phenomenal companion. He is truly missed.
Vegas passed away in 2011 at the age of 13, she loved to compete in obedience, and was always ready to be the "demo" dog especially if treats were involved. Vegas was a Paws For A Cause demonstration dog, a Certified Therapy Dog and attained the AKC Obedience title of Utility Dog Excellent. She was loved and is missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
I would be remiss if I didn't acknowledge all of the dogs that I have shared my life with at some point in time. They all had a part in helping me be the dog trainer I am today. Always in my heart - Meagan, Vinny, Nikko, Ginger, and Sparky
